Foods You Should Avoid in Joint Pain
Research suggests that some foods can trigger the joint pain and inflammation. So, to get relieve from joint pain while taking Ayurvedic treatments, try to avoid some foods that are intended to trigger joint pain. Here we listed some foods that are supposed to be avoided to get relieve from joint pain:
- Fried & Processed food:

High sugar consumption can lead to increase in advanced glycerin end products which cause inflammation. So, avoid candies, sodas and baked flour products (bread, rolls and crackers) to reduce joint pain.
- Dairy products:
If you are suffering from joint pain, then try to switch to vegan food. Food rich in protein can trigger inflammation and joint pain. So, to reduce inflammation and joint pain, try to avoid dairy products.
- Tobacco and Alcohol:
Tobacco and Alcohol can lead to various serious health risks. People consuming Alcohol are at higher risk for joint pain. So, to get relieve from joint pain, try to skip smoking and drinking and adapt healthy eating habits.
- Gluten and casein:
Gluten and casein are the proteins found in dairy products. These proteins are also responsible for inflammation and joint pain when taken in higher amount. Casein is also found in whey protein products. So, avoid using products that contain gluten and casein to get relieve from joint pain.
- Omega 6 fatty acid:
Omega 6 fatty acids are one of the essential fatty acid that help in growth and development of products. The excess consumption of omega 6s fatty acid can trigger inflammation.
